No worries at all. Branar bring the bones of James Joyce’s epic novel to life with charm and fun. A captivating adaptation devised for children but enthralling for everyone” – Fringe Review UK \n\n\n\nOriginally commissioned by and produced as part of Ulysses 2.2\, a collaborative project between ANU\, Landmark Productions and Museum of Literature Ireland. \n\n\n\nUlysses 2.2 was a year-long\, nationwide programme of thrilling new artistic experiments in 2022\, created by a rich and diverse gathering of established and emerging Irish artists\, presented in a range of live performances\, digital commissions and installations. \n\n\n\nAlong with this stage version\, on 16 June 2022\, children throughout Ireland were invited to take part in My Bloomsday to celebrate and tell us about their Bloomsday\, 100 years on from the book’s original publication date. Duration: Aprrox. 45 minutes.Tickets:Member – $10Non-member – $15James Joyce’s epic story of one day in one city is brought to life in this inventive new show\, bringing Ireland’s most notorious book to audiences aged 8 and upwards\, and to all those who haven’t got around to reading it yet. \n\n\n\nCombining live performance\, intricate paper design\, an original score and Joyce’s odyssey\, this is theatre that will excite both young and old. \n\n\n\n“Never read Ulysses? No worries at all. Branar bring the bones of James Joyce’s epic novel to life with charm and fun. A captivating adaptation devised for children but enthralling for everyone” – Fringe Review UK \n\n\n\nOriginally commissioned by and produced as part of Ulysses 2.2\, a collaborative project between ANU\, Landmark Productions and Museum of Literature Ireland. \n\n\n\nUlysses 2.2 was a year-long\, nationwide programme of thrilling new artistic experiments in 2022\, created by a rich and diverse gathering of established and emerging Irish artists\, presented in a range of live performances\, digital commissions and installations. \n\n\n\nAlong with this stage version\, on 16 June 2022\, children throughout Ireland were invited to take part in My Bloomsday to celebrate and tell us about their Bloomsday\, 100 years on from the book’s original publication date. This included a film version of the show which can still be viewed on the Ulysses 2.2 websiteAll are welcome at Chicago Gaelic Park. Memberships are not required. DESCRIPTION:The candidate chosen as the 2026 Chicago Gaelic Park Queen shall reign as Queen for one full year. A runner-up will also be chosen. During St. Patrick’s week\, the new Queen and runner-up will be given seats of honor high atop the Gaelic Park Parade Float. The Queen and runner-up will also represent Gaelic Park at various special events during the year. The Queen and runner-up will also enjoy our Irish Fest August 21-23.  Valuable gifts and prizes will be bestowed upon the newly crowned Queen and runner-up. The Queen receives 2 round-trip ticket to Ireland. All young women are invited to enter the contest\, if they meet the following requirements. \n\n\n\n• Are 18-29 years of age by June 13\, 2026• Must be of Irish Heritage• Unmarried• $10.00 registration feeCrowning ceremony at 7pm on June 13th in the Carraig Beer Garden.
