Chicago Gaelic Park, located in Oak Forest, IL, sits on a 62 acre site. The main building consists of three function rooms; The Emerald Room with a capacity of 550, The Tara Room with a capacity of 430, and Celtic Room with a capacity of 140. In addition, there is the Carraig Irish pub which hosts live music every weekend. As you approach the front of the main facility, the 1916 remembrance monument is on display and the famine memorial monument is on display to your left. Adjacent to this is the Volunteer Garden, a beautifully landscaped serene setting intended for quiet enjoyment. Wedding couples also like to use this area for photographs. An outdoor covered patio area surrounded by shrubs, a waterfall and pergola, along with a children’s playground, is situated at the back of the main facility. The facility encompasses 6 full size sports playing fields, a main sports stadium with locker rooms and showers, and several storage sheds. At the south end of the main sports stadium stands a grotto with statues of St. Patrick, St Brigid and The Blessed Virgin. Expansive parking areas include two large paved parking lots that can accommodate all guests.
