The Carraig Pub

The Carraig (“The Rock” in Gaelic) Irish Pub is iconic amongst the Chicago Gaelic Park community. It’s been a staple for the Irish community for almost 40 years. We show live GAA games from Ireland on Saturday and Sunday mornings in the summer. The pub caters to the general public on a daily basis serving the best in Irish American cuisine and not to mention our draft beer, wine and liquor selections (not to brag, but we serve the perfect pint of Guinness). Live music on Friday and Saturday evenings never have a cover charge. So whether you’re just having a quick bite and a pint, or meeting with friends and family, you’ll always feel at home at The Carraig Irish Pub.

The Beer Garden is open seasonally. During the summer the indoor pub is closed.

A Home for the Irish Spirit

The pub means a lot to us at CGP. Generations of families have spent time here. It’s a place where parents and wee ones stop in for dinner before Irish dance class, GAA teams have a pint after practice, and where we all listen to live music each weekend. The Carraig is key in our mission to promote Irish culture through sports, music, art, and community.
