CGP Queen
Chicago Gaelic Park elects a new Queen and a court every June The candidate chosen as the Chicago Gaelic Park Queen reigns for one full year. During St. Patrick’s week, the new Queen and runner-up will be given seats of honor high atop the Gaelic Park Parade Float. The Queen and runner-up will also represent Chicago Gaelic Park at various special events during the year. Valuable gifts and prizes will be bestowed upon the newly crowned Queen.
Trip to Ireland
Prizes to the newly crowned queen include a trip to Ireland among many others. The newly elected runner-up will also participate in the activities and receive many prizes. All unmarried women of Irish heritage, aged 18-29 are invited to enter with a registration fee of $10. Our Queen contest is June 13, 2026.

Queen Orlaith Conlon and Court Bridget McDermott
Orlaith Conlon “Hi everyone! My name is Orlaith Conlon and I am a first generation Irish American from Evergreen Park. I am a student at Illinois State University, where I am studying Elementary Education. Gaelic Park has been a part of my life since I was born, especially being there every Sunday in the summertime for as long as I can remember. From playing Gaelic Football, Camogie, Irish dance, attending many events and weddings, etc. Gaelic Park and the Irish community have been a big part of my life, where I have met so many people who are like family to me, which I will be forever grateful for. I am so excited to represent my Irish heritage and the Gaelic Park community for the coming year!”
Annie Trompeter: “Hi everyone- my name is Bridget McDermott and I’m so excited to be this year’s Queen’s Court! I was lucky enough to be a part of the court in 2020 and am happy to be back again with Orlaith as the Queen! I work as a neurologic physical therapist and have been coming to Gaelic Park for as long as I can remember. From monthly Masses to football games- Irish dancing to dinners at the Carraig – Irish fest and Ireland on Parade- I love being a part of all the amazing things this community has to offer! Can’t wait to see everyone this year!”
