Soul Commitments

The world is made of stories, and those stories make us. Who better to tell a story than the Irish? And so begins our musical story about “The Saviors of Dublin Soul”. Soundtracks of a Generation recreates the energy, music and vibe of Alan Parker’s cult classic film, The Commitments, based on Roddy Doyle’s Barrytown Trilogy.
Irish actress and director of many Gaelic Park plays. Josephine Craven narrates the show, weaving the story of the little band that almost could. She is joined by some of the finest musicians out there today, to bring the book and film to the concert stage.
